Airedale Chemicals cuts labelling time by around 25% with Dura-ID Solutions

Airedale Chemicals, an approved manufacturer of certain chemicals, faced a challenge with its labeling process. They needed a system to produce detailed safety data sheets (SDS) and matching labels, but were not confident in their existing software's capabilities. Dura-ID Solutions was recommended to them by a partner to address this need.

Dura-ID Solutions implemented its NeuraLabel 500e system, which allowed for the creation of large-format labels that consolidated multiple required labels into one. This solution significantly cut labeling time by approximately a quarter, as employees no longer had to place multiple individual labels per drum. While the labels themselves were more expensive, the overall cost was reduced when factoring in the substantial labour savings. The vendor also enabled the inclusion of branding and marketing details on the labels.
