The University of Toronto, a major higher education and public research institution with 124,000 users across three campuses, needed a secure and easy-to-use identity and access solution to protect staff, faculty, and students in a decentralized environment. It chose Duo Security as part of its security strategy to support distributed IT teams and enable safe access for users working from anywhere.

Duo Security implemented Duo MFA with a phased rollout and collaborative, cross-department adoption approach, supported by training and automated provisioning.
