Seven Investment Management (7IM), a London‑based wealth manager with £14.3bn AUM, faced a market shift after Pension Freedoms and needed a Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) to capture more in‑retirement assets and extend client relationships. Rather than build its own system, Seven Investment Management selected Dunstan Thomas and its Imago Administration platform and outsourced pension administration to avoid recruiting specialist staff and accelerate time to market.

Dunstan Thomas worked with Seven Investment Management to design, build and administer the 7IM SIPP, integrating Imago Administration with 7IM’s systems (including automatic cash matching from GoCardless) and going live in May 2018. The Dunstan Thomas solution delivered straight‑through processing, automated onboarding and regulatory reporting, lower per‑unit administration costs and has supported Seven Investment Management in capturing a higher share of pension assets (over 50% of 7IM‑managed assets are already in pension wrappers), driving increased adviser interest and longer client lifecycles.
