Nestlé worked with dunnhumby to launch a new on-pack promotion with Sky Store, offering consumers a movie voucher for collecting four promotional packs of confectionery sharing bags. The challenge was to promote the Tesco-exclusive offer to the right customers and understand which marketing activities would drive the most sales.

dunnhumby used Tesco Clubcard data, attitudinal media insights, and store-level targeting to build a connected media plan across point of sale, in-store competitions, out-of-store digital screens, and SMS geo-fencing. The campaign reached 5.8 million customers with 18 million exposures and delivered an 11% sales uplift overall; stores with POS and JCD digital screens generated a 33% sales uplift versus 15% for POS only.
