Hotel del Coronado, the iconic 757‑room Pacific Ocean resort, faced rising upkeep costs and a five‑year decline in RevPAR Index. Management saw an opportunity to better target guests by dividing the property into three distinct segments (Beach Village, premium and non‑premium rooms) and partnered with Duetto, deploying its GameChanger revenue‑management solution to automate daily revenue tasks and enable strategic segmentation.
Using Duetto’s GameChanger, the resort automated revenue workflows, aligned departments on a single data set, and priced and optimized demand separately for each of its three offerings while varying competitive sets by season and customer type. The Duetto implementation reversed the downward trend: 2015 RevPAR increased 12.8% and RevPAR Index rose 5.7% versus 2014, improving yield and reducing overhead through automation.
