Elemis, a skin wellness brand operating in a competitive market, needed to find a new strategy for customer acquisition that moved beyond traditional advertising and influencer campaigns. Their challenge, addressed with vendor Duel, was to turn their passionate, loyal customer base into a sales channel that could drive growth and incentivize the creation of user-generated content (UGC).
Duel designed and built an exclusive, application-based social affiliate program called Skinsiders. This program provided a platform for Elemis's most engaged customers to create and share content in exchange for rewards, fostering a direct brand relationship. Powered by Duel's platform, the program generated £261k in referral revenue, gained 2,120 members, and achieved an 11x return on investment for Elemis.
