AXIS Increases Speed to Market in all Lines of Business

AXIS Capital engaged Duck Creek Technologies to tackle slow product development and change cycles, siloed legacy policy, billing, rating, and claims systems, and an overly large, hard-to-maintain product catalog. The goal was to increase speed to market, integrate a modern platform with existing financial and BI stacks, and unify IT strategy—using the Duck Creek Suite to replace and modernize core systems.

Duck Creek Technologies implemented the Duck Creek Suite across AXIS Capital’s lines of business, consolidating products from 160+ to about 70 configurable offerings and cutting underwriting time from 60 minutes to 15. The solution improved data flow and reporting, accelerated product updates and delivery, reduced maintenance overhead, and enabled new business opportunities that were not possible with the legacy environment.
