Indigo Energy Partners, an Alpharetta, Georgia wholesaler of petroleum and renewable fuels, struggled with carriers taking days or even more than a week to provide Bills of Lading (BOLs), which delayed customer invoicing. To address this, Indigo implemented DTN’s Fuel Admin (DTN Fuel Admin®) to improve data quality and speed up BOL delivery.
DTN delivered automated eBOLs that stream directly into Indigo’s back office (most eBOLs are available within three minutes of load completion) and a dashboard for consistent supplier mapping, custom code cross-references, and exceptions-based rules. As a result, Indigo now receives almost all BOLs the same day, can bill customers within its preferred 24-hour window, and has saved accounting time—improving billing timeliness and cash management thanks to DTN.
