Hooters of America, which operates more than 455 locations across 28 countries, needed a more proactive and educational loss prevention program for its corporately owned restaurants. For years, the function had been handled mainly by executive staff, and by late 2003 the company began looking to outsource support. DTiQ was selected to help fill that gap with auditing and incident resolution services, along with training and awareness support.
DTiQ implemented nationwide Control & Compliance Audits, Employee Training & Awareness Programs, Incident Resolution Services, and later Customer Experience Services for Hooters of America. Regional auditors visited each corporately owned location twice a year, while mystery shops and incident support were managed through DTiQ’s online reporting and resolution process. The result was a measurable reduction in loss, better issue handling, and stronger operational awareness, with Hooters also tying shop scores to financial incentives to reinforce performance.
