DXL Big & Tall faced high associate turnover, limited internal resources, and an unacceptable shrink rate across its nationwide stores. After evaluating the cost of building an internal loss prevention department, DXL turned to DTiQ for a lower-cost, outsourced nationwide loss prevention solution.
DTiQ deployed a customized full-service program across all U.S. locations, including a target store program with action plans and frequent inventory counts to reduce shrink. The results were strong: shrink was reduced by an average of 70%, including a 50% reduction in 68 target stores in 2006, and DXL achieved an overall earnings improvement of $4.6 million.
