Weir Group, a multinational engineering company, needed an urgent logistics solution to move 10 crate loads of industrial pumps from Dallas to Saudi Arabia by Monday. With the request coming in just as the Dubai weekend was beginning, the challenge included packing the pumps into crates, arranging the paperwork, and meeting a tight dispatch deadline. DSV was brought in to handle the time-critical international shipment.

DSV coordinated the full process across its Dallas and Dubai teams, quickly packing the pumps, completing the documentation, and getting the cargo onto a plane for onward delivery. The result was 24 tonnes of air cargo packed, dispatched, flown, and delivered on time, exceeding Weir’s expectations and proving DSV could manage even highly urgent global transport requirements.
