Dräxlmaier uses DSV to reduce the environmental impact of transport

Dräxlmaier Group, a global automotive supplier, wanted to reduce the environmental impact of its transport operations while maintaining high service quality. To support this goal, Dräxlmaier worked with DSV and used monthly carbon reports to gain detailed visibility into emissions by shipment, transport mode, equipment, distance, and weight.

DSV helped Dräxlmaier identify and implement lower-emission transport options, such as shifting some shipments from trucks to trains and using a sea-air combination where possible. DSV also switched container transport from Bangkok to an inland factory from regular trucks to CNG trucks, significantly reducing carbon emissions, while helping improve efficiency through better load consolidation and route planning.
