Aalborg Zoo worked with DSV to transport its endangered Persian leopard, Bam Bam, from Denmark to a new home at the Feline Conservation Center in California. The challenge was to move a live predatory cat safely over a long international route while keeping the animal awake, calm, and unharmed throughout the journey.

DSV handled the transport with a specially constructed box, trucking Bam Bam from Aalborg Zoo to Amsterdam, then arranging a chartered flight to Los Angeles before a final truck transfer to Rosamond, California. Thanks to DSV’s careful planning and handling, Bam Bam arrived safely and on time, supporting an important breeding program for the endangered Persian leopard.
