WOW!, an internet, cable and phone provider, engaged Dstillery in early 2018 to drive new residential customer acquisition while hitting an efficient cost per lead (CPL). The challenge was to reach high-intent prospects and lower acquisition costs for WOW!’s residential products.

Dstillery ran a Managed Service campaign targeting customers who were moving or in-market to switch providers, using Custom AI Audiences (powered by WOW!’s first‑party data), Behavioral Audiences and Ranked Retargeting. After strong initial results the budget grew 75% and the program expanded to additional lines of business; continuous optimization delivered CPLs on average 35% below WOW!’s original benchmark.
