How FOMO Led to Employee Advocacy Glory

COSMO CONSULT, a Berlin-based IT services and consulting company, wanted to take its social selling and employee advocacy efforts further by getting more employees to share company and industry content on social media. Although its workforce was digitally savvy, only a small number of “COSMOnauts” were actively posting, so the team needed a way to make sharing easier while helping employees understand the professional value of personal branding. COSMO CONSULT partnered with DSMN8 to support this initiative.

DSMN8 implemented an employee advocacy program with workshops, segmented Groups & Teams, suggested captions, multiple content variations via Dynamic Display, analytics, and optional automation to make sharing frictionless. Starting with 30 selected employees, the program grew to 90 users within eight months, generating over 1,575,669 impressions and more than $26.5k in earned media value, while delivering a 2.5x return on investment and a $4.37 cost per click.
