A DryvIQ Case Study
Alcopa, a Belgium-based investment firm in the automotive industry, required a more cost-effective and flexible platform to manage and share over 20 terabytes of active content with thousands of internal and external users. Their existing on-premises network storage was insufficient for these collaboration needs. The company chose Box as its new cloud content management solution but faced the challenge of migrating this vast amount of constantly changing data without disrupting business operations.
To manage the complex migration, Box recommended the vendor DryvIQ. DryvIQ created a bi-directional sync between Alcopa’s network file systems and Box, allowing data to be uploaded and kept current while users were trained on the new system. The result was a seamless transition with zero business impact. DryvIQ’s solution also enabled users to self-recover from virus-infected files by restoring previous versions, which significantly reduced the IT team's remediation workload.
