UMaine used Dryfta’s event platform to support its annual Student Symposium, a large day-long academic event showcasing undergraduate and graduate research and creative work. As the symposium grew, the university needed a way to manage multiple complex tasks that were no longer feasible for a small team to handle manually.

Dryfta provided a single system for collecting abstracts, emailing participants, assigning reviewers, managing peer review, building the event website and program schedule, and selling tickets. UMaine said Dryfta was a “godsend” and valued its conference-specific functionality and support, noting that it helped split disparate tasks across the team and made the event manageable.
