OHEL Children’s Home and Family Services, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit serving more than 17,000 people, needed a simpler way to protect data as it moved from on-premises Exchange to Microsoft 365 and also managed VMware VMs and Salesforce. Its existing Veeam-based backup service could cover VMs, but not SaaS apps, creating the need for a single cloud-native backup approach from Druva.

Druva implemented the Druva Cloud Platform to manage and restore backups for OHEL’s 60 VMs, 2,000 Microsoft 365 mailboxes, and Salesforce data from one console. The results included 100% visibility across backups, more than 50% less time spent on daily backup management, 2.5X global deduplication savings, and the ability to restore deleted email in minutes.
