Capita, a London-based provider of business process outsourcing with about 52,500 employees across 350 locations (around 40% remote), faced rapid mobile data growth of 50–60% per year and widespread data loss from device loss, backup failures and performance issues. The company needed a centrally managed, highly secure, scalable and user‑transparent backup solution to protect roughly 6 GB of data per user and support its dispersed workforce.

Capita deployed Druva inSync on‑premise, using WAN optimization, bandwidth throttling, global client‑side deduplication and multi‑layer security (256‑bit encryption, two‑factor controls and SSO) with centralized administration and self‑restore for users.
