A Druva Case Study
The American Cancer Society, a nationwide nonprofit with thousands of staff and volunteers spread across the U.S., struggled to manage and protect large volumes of endpoint data from a primarily mobile workforce. Their manual restore and device refresh processes were time-consuming and resource-intensive, creating a need for an automated, location-agnostic backup and restore solution that could handle provisioning, deprovisioning, and compliance requirements.
The Society implemented Druva inSync, a cloud-managed endpoint protection platform that eliminated on‑premises storage, provided global deduplication and automated restores, and enforced regional data controls. The rollout protected terabytes of data for over 4,500 users, cut bandwidth and storage needs (about 50% dedupe), saved IT roughly 20 hours during hardware refreshes, and improved user productivity and data availability.
