Headless Drupal Development Helps Skiers Find Resort Information Quickly

Boreal Mountain Resort needed a faster, more scalable website to get skiers to the mountain sooner and to fix slow, disparate systems across its parent company’s network. After evaluating CMS options, Hoorooh Digital and Elevated Third chose a headless Drupal 8 approach to provide a stable, flexible backend and a streamlined admin experience.

Elevated Third built a decoupled, componentized Drupal 8 backend while Hoorooh delivered a modern JavaScript front end, with Acquia handling hosting and support. The Drupal-based solution sped development, cut costs, and made content updates and new site rollouts much faster—allowing Boreal to reuse components across multiple resorts, add dynamic features like weather and conditions quickly, and ultimately get skiers to the mountain sooner.
