A Drupal Case Study

Drupal keeps a Great Digital Shopping Experience Ticking

Timex, the iconic American watchmaker, needed a more flexible, cost-effective commerce platform to reflect its brand, improve product discovery, and support rapid global expansion. When its contract with a proprietary CMS ended, Timex chose Drupal to build a new flagship site that would enable intuitive navigation, rich product and editorial content, easier in-house management, and region-specific localization.

Using Drupal’s modular architecture, templates and integrations (including Acquia Search and a custom Drupal module), Timex launched a redesigned commerce site in six months, migrated 22+ sites, and now serves 400,000+ searches per month. Drupal also helped Timex reduce fraudulent transactions by 4,200 percent, accelerate product launches and content localization, and maintain a consistent, engaging global shopping experience.
