AVIO Consulting, a consulting leader in Oracle Fusion Middleware and Mulesoft, needed a refreshed, responsive website and a migration off a “too static” Drupal 7 site to a more engaging platform that could showcase services, boost blog-driven traffic, and support recruitment and sales. They chose Drupal for its scalability, flexibility, affordability and continuous security updates.

Using Drupal, the project migrated AVIO from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 with the built-in migration toolset, implemented a responsive theme, a dynamic homepage (hero slider, full-width dropdown, mobile toggles), the Paragraphs module for flexible content editing, Solr search, and spam controls (Mollom/Honeypot). Drupal-based optimizations (image optimization and Drupal 8 internal page cache) produced a 300% increase in site speed, while the new content tools and Slaask chat integration improved engagement, content management and searchability.
