The Flemish Family Association, Gezinsbond, faced significant challenges in managing a complex digital presence that included one main national website and hundreds of regional sites operated by volunteers on various CMSs. This led to a lack of coordination and an inability to effectively push content from headquarters. The organization engaged Dropsolid to address this disorganization and create a unified content strategy.
Dropsolid implemented a Contenta headless CMS as a central content hub, decoupled from website design. This solution, hosted on the Dropsolid Experience Cloud, uses APIs and taxonomy mapping to securely pull data and automatically populate all sites. The result gave Gezinsbond full ownership of its multisite environment, drastically reduced its Total Cost of Ownership, and enabled the central team to manage over 350 websites efficiently while allowing local volunteers freedom over their content.
