A Dropbox Case Study
Viva con Agua is a German nonprofit that builds an international network of volunteers to bring clean drinking water and sanitation to communities worldwide. With over 15,000 volunteers in Germany and many more abroad, the organization struggled with fragmented files, delayed communication and heavy reliance on email—problems worsened by low-bandwidth and remote project locations.
By adopting Dropbox Business (integrated with Office 365), Viva con Agua created a centralized platform for uploading and sharing photos, videos and documents in real time via single secure links. The change reduced dependence on email, sped up partner communication and workflows (notably during the WATERWALK event), and enabled truly global, collaborative work even from low-bandwidth areas.
