Expedia, a global travel company that started in 1996 and now employs about 18,000 people across multiple brands and regions, faced a collaboration challenge as teams spanned time zones, disciplines, and preferred tools. Expedia piloted and rolled out Dropbox Business (initially to 10,000 users), enabling teams across IT, marketing, and customer service to work together across Bellevue, London, Prague, Delhi and beyond as if co-located. The deployment was smooth, widely adopted, and provided the scalability and cross-platform compatibility the company needed to support continued global expansion.
