A Dropbox Case Study
Arizona State University, spread across five Phoenix-area campuses, needed a way to operate as “one university in many places.” Faculty and staff faced collaboration barriers—email attachment limits, ad hoc thumb‑drive exchanges and poor version control—that hindered cross‑campus research, academic planning and global teamwork, so ASU sought to upgrade workplace technology to match its innovative teaching initiatives.
ASU deployed Dropbox Business, leveraging the many existing personal accounts for fast adoption and giving secure, cross‑platform cloud access and sharing from anywhere. Rolled out to more than 10,000 faculty and staff, the solution improved efficiency, speed, access and version control, strengthening academic, research and administrative collaboration across campuses and around the globe.
