A Dropbox Case Study
Design Milk, an online design publisher that operates without a central headquarters, needed to coordinate remote designers, editors, and project managers to build the Milk Stand pop-up at ICFF 2017. The team faced a complex, multi-contributor project and needed a cloud-based, low–learning-curve tool to keep everyone aligned across locations and stages of the creative process.
They adopted Dropbox Paper as a single shared workspace—easy to learn (about 15 minutes)—to assign tasks and due dates, create quick tables and floorplans, use an auto-generated table of contents, and leave contextual comments with update notifications. Paper consolidated mock-ups, schedules, and communications, streamlined collaboration, kept the project on track, and ultimately earned a permanent spot in Design Milk’s toolkit.
