A Dropbox Case Study
Marcus Graham Project (MGP), founded in 2007 by Larry Yarrell II and Lincoln Stephens, is a talent incubator that addresses the persistent lack of racial and ethnic representation in advertising, marketing, and media. Facing a growing number of industry openings but few diverse hires, MGP’s mission is to prepare underrepresented young people for careers and leadership roles in these fields.
MGP runs experiential bootcamps and pop-up agencies that pair participants with mentors and real Fortune 500 clients, giving hands-on experience rather than menial tasks, and uses Dropbox Business and Dropbox Paper to coordinate projects and collaboration. The approach has been highly effective: over 95% of graduates secure employment immediately after the program and move into roles at top agencies and brands, often on leadership tracks.
