A Dropbox Case Study
Ehrenberg‑Bass Institute for Marketing Science, a research organization led by trend‑spotters, needed a secure, easy way for about 65 staff to collaborate on sensitive research, teaching materials and marketing assets while moving off on‑site servers. The main challenges were getting users up to speed on a new cloud workflow, enabling remote contributors to access project files, and ensuring strict access control and long‑term protection of active and archived projects.
Ehrenberg‑Bass migrated to Dropbox Business, using shared project folders, master templates and granular access controls to centralize storage, simplify remote collaboration and enable file recovery and auditing. The change delivered easier cross‑location sharing, greater privacy for individual projects, improved archive safety—including recovery of a mistakenly deleted folder—and renewed confidence in backing up and accessing research.
