Creative Production Studio, operating as Very True Story, grew from a freelance animation collaboration into a distributed design studio—but when the pandemic hit, its team and freelancers were spread across the world and needed a better way to collaborate, share assets, and stay connected. The studio turned to Dropbox and Dropbox Paper to support its remote creative workflow.

Dropbox helped Creative Production Studio make collaboration seamless by requiring Dropbox on every team member’s computer, using it to review animation snippets, share client asset links, and build mood boards in Paper. The result was a workflow that worked across time zones, reduced access delays and worries, and enabled the studio to keep building community remotely while working with five full-time animators and 10 to 20 freelancers at a time.
