A dRofus Case Study
Université Paris Sud faced significant challenges in managing complex room data for a new €260m biology-pharmacy-chemistry center. The project's scale, with 88,000 square meters and a growing volume of data, required a collaborative database to unify information and handle rigorous room-by-room modifications. The university's BIM team turned to dRofus to implement its data management platform to address these issues and adapt their work processes mid-project.
The solution involved integrating dRofus with Revit, which centralized data across all project trades and provided immediate access to information. This allowed the team to efficiently produce design data, drawings, and equipment layouts specific to each room's needs. The dRofus platform, including its web interface and API, streamlined on-site management and enabled real-time progress monitoring. The implementation by dRofus provided great data reliability, saved significant time on tasks, and delivered a strong return on investment despite its late adoption.
