A dRofus Case Study
The customer, Statsbygg, the Norwegian government's construction and property agency, faced a challenge in managing client requirements across its approximately 140 simultaneous projects. They needed to move from using unstructured Word documents to a standardized, shareable model for defining functional requirements. They turned to the vendor dRofus to find a solution.
By implementing dRofus as a programming database, Statsbygg standardized rates and functional requirements for all its building projects. This allowed all employees to work with a single, updated source of client requirements. The solution from dRofus facilitated open data exchange with other project partners and integrated with BIM standards. As a result, dRofus was widely adopted, with over 1,400 users within Statsbygg's projects by the end of 2010.
