A dRofus Case Study
The customer, Stantec NCCCR, faced the challenge of managing data for two nearly identical new hospitals on Vancouver Island. Their goal was to keep the facilities standardized so staff could work interchangeably between them, but coordinating room names, numbers, and program data across two separate sites using only Revit and Excel promised to be a difficult and duplicative task.
dRofus provided a single database to manage both hospital projects simultaneously. This solution standardized all data across the sites, enabled simultaneous reporting, and allowed the team to make changes to both facilities at once. The use of dRofus eliminated the onerous effort of manually duplicating work, effectively cutting the administrative task in half. It also facilitated broader access to project data for the entire team without needing direct access to the Revit models.
