Perkins Eastman was tasked with creating a furniture, fixture, and equipment (FF&E) package for a VA Health Care Center under a tight timeframe. They needed to develop detailed specifications and an activation report without making major changes to the existing construction documents, as the building information model (BIM) was also being used for construction quantification.

The dRofus platform provided a solution by utilizing data from the BIM model to create custom templates for reporting and tracking. This allowed Perkins Eastman to efficiently manage over 100 different fabric, furniture, and equipment items and their locations, linking specifications directly to the model. The use of dRofus saved an enormous amount of time and effort, eliminating inefficiencies and preventing the need to hire more staff. It delivered the project under budget, provided the client with a comprehensive and interactive report that exceeded expectations, and significantly streamlined communication.
