DesignInc Sydney, in association with the architecture firm Lacoste + Stevenson, was commissioned to design the large Shellharbour City Hub, a complex civic and cultural building. Their challenge was to centrally manage vast quantities of project data, including brief requirements, program milestones, FF&E, and finishes. To meet this challenge, DesignInc implemented the dRofus planning and data management software.

The dRofus solution provided a centralized database that streamlined collaboration between the project partners. It automated the creation of room data sheets and synchronized this data with Building Information Models, which expedited the traditional manual process. According to an associate director at DesignInc, dRofus was a "game-changer" that facilitated true collaboration and was integral to the successful delivery of the project.
