A dRofus Case Study
The Canton of Geneva faced a significant challenge in renovating the electrical systems of its occupied University Medical Center (CMU). The project required meticulous data management to minimize disruption and ensure information was accurately captured for future operation and maintenance. The vendor, dRofus, was brought on to provide a centralized data management solution to address these complex needs during the design and execution phases.
dRofus was implemented to create a single source of truth for all project data, synchronizing with BIM models and facilitating collaboration. The solution enabled the team to manage equipment inventories, size emergency panels, and generate QR codes for installed assets. The use of dRofus significantly reduced unnecessary emails and information loss, creating a reliable bridge between the project teams and the future operations department. It became the operational reference for the building, optimizing data management throughout its lifecycle.
