A dRofus Case Study
Helse Bergen HF, a major healthcare provider, faced the challenge of managing the enormous amount of data for its new 50,000 square meter hospital, Glasblokkene Trinn 2. The client needed a single master asset database to create a golden thread of information connecting all project phases—from planning and design through to construction and future operation—to improve collaboration and efficiency. They turned to the vendor dRofus for its cloud-based planning and data management tool to implement a Digital Twin solution.
The solution from dRofus provided a centralized, open, cloud-based database that acted as a single source of truth, eliminating data silos and enabling real-time collaboration between all stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and the client. This data-first approach resulted in significant cost savings, better project control, and substantially better outcomes. The project was delivered completely digitally with no printed drawings, and the dRofus database will continue to provide value throughout the entire building's operational lifecycle.
