COWI, a major engineering consulting company, faced challenges in coordinating MEP systems and ensuring consistent, high-quality documentation across disciplines before construction began on their Glasblokkene Trinn 2 project. Their traditional workflows involved disconnected data silos in separate models and spreadsheets, which hampered collaboration between consultants and contractors and often resulted in documentation being finalized only after building completion.

The solution was implemented using dRofus, an openBIM data management platform. dRofus provided a centralized cloud database that served as a single source of truth, allowing all project parties to collaborate on the same up-to-date data.
