Baptist Health - Customer Case Study

Baptist Health, a major healthcare provider in Jacksonville, faced challenges due to a lack of centralized design standards for its extensive facilities and new construction projects. This absence of a single source of truth led to inefficiencies, as internal teams and external architects repeatedly asked the same questions during project planning. System Director of Planning & Design Matthew Bode sought a solution, dRofus, to create and manage these standards and improve overall planning efficiency.

The implementation of dRofus allowed Baptist Health to create a centralized database of over 570 room templates and 1,100 equipment standards. Using dRofus, the team streamlined project planning, feasibility studies, and equipment procurement. This resulted in dramatic time savings, such as reducing the process for generating system-wide audit reports from 3-4 months to just a few clicks and enabling project cost snapshots to be created in minutes instead of days. dRofus also provided a live connection to Revit models, helping to build a virtual campus and ensuring all project stakeholders work from the most current information.
