A DriveNets Case Study
A tier-1 telecommunications provider in the APAC region faced challenges with network scalability and the high costs of its legacy chassis-based router infrastructure. They partnered with DriveNets to find a modern solution that could support rapidly growing 5G traffic while reducing operational and capital expenditures, vendor lock-in, and physical space requirements.
The provider implemented DriveNets Network Cloud, a distributed disaggregated chassis (DDC) software solution running on standard white boxes, as part of a Telecom Infra Project (TIP) initiative. The deployment by DriveNets resulted in a 46% reduction in power consumption, a 40% savings in rack space, and significant CAPEX savings from sharing hardware across multiple network domains, all while providing the massive scalability needed for future growth.
