RWE Supply & Trading (RWEST), part of RWE, needed a completely new data environment to support a growing global business, faster access to trading data, and a stronger data culture for collaboration and knowledge sharing. To meet these needs, RWE turned to Dremio and its unified lakehouse platform for self-service analytics and AI.

RWE implemented an AWS-based cloud architecture using AWS S3, Snowflake, Databricks, and Dremio as the central, scalable data access layer. With Dremio, users gained secure self-service access to fresh data across teams, helping RWE automate pipelines, save 60% of processing time, and support 400,000 daily queries, 1,330 users across 84 teams, and 75,000 queries per day on Dremio.
