RWE accelerates data access with Dremio for 24/7 trading insights

RWE, a major energy producer, needed a new data environment to provide its global traders and analysts with faster access to trading data and to improve collaboration. To meet this challenge, RWE launched its Lead in Data project and selected the vendor Dremio and its Data Lakehouse Engine for a proof of concept.

RWE implemented Dremio as the central access system for its data lakehouse on AWS, which provides direct access to data sources and an intuitive, self-service analytics environment. With Dremio, users now have a single source of latest data, accelerating time to insight. The solution has enabled self-sufficient users to add value, boosting team efficiency and promoting informed decisions while saving time and costs.
