CERN’s Business Computing Group modernizes systems for 15,000+ users with Dreamix

CERN's Business Computing Group, responsible for corporate computing services at the European Laboratory for Particle Physics, sought to modernize its legacy Roles Management and Electronic Document Handler systems to improve internal process efficiency and enable future scaling. They partnered with Dreamix to increase IT capacity and rebuild these critical applications using a newer tech stack.

Dreamix rebuilt the Roles Management system using React and Java, creating a scalable solution with modern RESTful APIs. For the Electronic Document Handler, Dreamix redesigned the application and migrated it to React, also creating a framework for future development. This work resulted in saved man-hours, an improved user experience, and boosted employee satisfaction for CERN. The modernized systems now manage access for over 15,000 individuals and provide a solid foundation for future feature development.
