A data center in northern new jersey needed to monitor the performance of its backup generators during a demand response program. The facility director required real-time and historical data on the loading of four 2.5MW turbines and seamless integration with the existing building management system over an IP network. To address this challenge, they worked with Dranetz.

Dranetz implemented a solution using Encore Series ES230 DataNodes and Encore Series Software. The instruments were easily installed and integrated via Modbus, providing the network operations center with live data access. After a successful test, the facility gained the ability to monitor generator output remotely. The Dranetz solution ensured critical visibility into the power system supporting the 24/7 operation.
