Leading Global Consumer Healthcare Company, a major anonymous consumer healthcare brand and specialist oral health supplier, worked with Dragonfly AI to improve the visual saliency and shelf performance of its product portfolio across whitening, toothpaste, and toothbrush sub-categories. The challenge was to increase share of shelf and share of attention in physical retail, where brand integrity issues and suboptimal eye-level placement were limiting visibility.

Dragonfly AI used saliency scoring to test different shelf layouts, including vertical placement and brand blocking for toothpaste and toothbrushes, plus horizontal blocks in toothpaste, to identify the most attention-grabbing configurations. After a 4-month pilot in 10 stores, the changes were rolled out to 190 stores and helped the client become the number one toothpaste supplier for the first time ever, delivering measurable gains of +7% in client toothpaste, +5.7% in the toothpaste section, +2% in oral care, and +1.4% in the total oral care category.
