Accelerating Centrifuge Quoting, Sales, and Development Processes With DraftSight Professional

CentraSep Technologies, a long-established manufacturer of industrial centrifuges and separation systems, needed a more cost-effective 2D DWG drawing solution to replace aging AutoCAD seats and better support sales, engineering, manufacturing, and documentation workflows. To address that challenge, CentraSep adopted DraftSight Professional as the alternative 2D design tool.

By replacing AutoCAD with DraftSight Professional (5 seats), CentraSep integrated 2D drafting with its SOLIDWORKS 3D workflow, enabling engineers to export 3D models as DWG blocks for sales, speed electrical schematic creation, and batch-print multi-sheet packages. DraftSight shortened the quoting/proposal/sales process, reduced engineering time spent supporting sales, accelerated schematic development, and saved significant time on printing and documentation.
