S & D Coffee & Tea, a North Carolina–based beverage manufacturer founded in 1927, expanded production and product lines in the 2000s and saw its maintenance needs grow with increasing capacity and complex equipment. After years on PMC, the company upgraded to iMaint in 2013 to manage maintenance across three manufacturing sites, two warehouses per facility, and a maintenance team of about 45 people handling roughly 200 work orders per week.

Using iMaint for preventive maintenance scheduling, inventory and purchasing, and a web work requester, S & D tracks approximately 9,000 parts across six sub-warehouses and coordinates shifts and skills for efficient work assignment. The integrated system helped streamline planning and parts lookup, cut unplanned downtime to about 5% or less, and significantly improved maintenance efficiency and visibility.
