Husqvarna North America’s industrial engineering team in Orangeburg struggled with a cumbersome mix of Excel, PDFs, QSI and Lotus Notes to create, approve and distribute final-assembly work instructions for hundreds of products, which caused slow approvals, version-control issues and difficulty onboarding seasonal workers. After evaluating options, they selected Dozuki’s web-based work-instruction platform (and conversion services) to replace the fragmented process.

Dozuki implemented a centralized, web and mobile workflow plus Dozuki conversion services to migrate legacy content—1,438 documents and 3,062 pages—while building 2,000 new work instructions. The result: approved versions push instantly to production (instead of taking days), line operators always use current instructions, on-the-fly updates from smartphones, and significant staff-time savings thanks to Dozuki’s conversion team.
