3M faced steep training and production challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic: scaling up PPE manufacturing, onboarding many new workers quickly, and shifting away from traditional job‑shadowing as experienced staff retired. To address this, 3M turned to Dozuki’s digital work instructions, forms, and commenting features to capture expert knowledge, deliver visual step‑by‑step training, and reinforce continuous improvement.
Using Dozuki, 3M replaced conference‑room binders and one‑on‑one shadowing with interactive, visual instructions and digital feedback tools, enabling new hires to be confident from day one and to submit improvement suggestions immediately. The Dozuki implementation accelerated onboarding, reduced reliance on scarce experts, and embedded a culture of daily improvement by collecting real‑time feedback across all experience levels.
